  13. I have known Eddie since probably the day I was born and words can not convey how much he will be missed. Many of my best memories growing up included him. Playing hide and seek at his house, sledding down his front yard, doing some chicken coop drag racing with him. Even as I grew up and moved away he was always there when I came back. I took for granted that he would always be there and I will miss him dearly. Eddie l hope you drag race all the way to heaven.

  18. I’m so sorry Janie just found out about Eddie , He was a very good friend of mine, Ill miss him calling and reminding me a had a birthday coming . may he rest in peace.

  19. He was a friend for many years, dating back to working at the burger chef on Patton avenue. We both went on to college, but I quit and went into the sevice. I came back to Asheville and our friendship continued. We again ran across another friend in need of medical support. Eddie offered that to him and we started having cookouts for this group and it continued for several months. Eddie began to get worn down easily and had to back off the physical assistance he was giving but continued on with the group cookouts. He has a heck of a man and friend. He will be missed by many.
