Elaine Bradley Parker, 62, of Candler, passed away Saturday, February 23, 2008 at Memorial Mission Hospital. A native of Buncombe County, she was a daughter of the late Fulton and Iris Ballard Bradley. She is also preceded in death by a sister, Fonda Sumner, brother Ray Bradley and grandchildren Makayla Lynn and John Colton Parker. She was a member of White Rock Baptist Church. Surviving are her loving husband of 46 years, John Caroll Parker; three daughters, Carla Hollifield and husband Kenny, Cathy Parker and Christy Ball and husband Kevin; sons, John Parker and wife Hope and Brad Parker and wife Carmella; 13 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will be held at 11:00a.m. Wednesday at White Rock Baptist Church with Revs. Fred Morris, John Parker and Brad Parker officiating. Flowers will be accepted and appreciated or memorials may be made to the Kitchen Fund at White Rock Baptist Church, PO Box 1277, Candler, NC 28715.

    We were so sorry and shocked to hear of Elaine’s death. She was a wonderful friend who will we always remember as being loving and joyful all the time. She was a very special woman. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and all your family. We are sure that you know she is in Heaven rejoicing with those gone on before us.   4. My aunt Elaine was a wonderful person, I had not seen her in years, but I will never forget as a child her haveing a smile always on her face and her laugh, she was such a joyful person. I know God needed her to be with him. So we celibrate her life that she is with him. To my cousins I know what this is like, and she will make her presence known, she will be all around you.
