Electa Ethel Clark

ELECTA M. CLARK Electa Ethel McCarson Clark, of 7 Bear Lane, Leicester, died Monday, June 18, 2001, at her home. Mrs. Clark was born in Buncombe County and was a daughter of the late James A. and Florence Pressley McCarson. She was married to the Rev. Glen B. Clark who died in 1994. She was a member of Ridgeview Baptist Church. She is survived by two daughters, Glenna Sue McCoy of Candler and Katie Lance of Leicester; two sons, Daniel M. Clark of Hendersonville and Neil S. Clark of Leicester; three sisters, Alice Rogers of Colorado, Orva Lee Warren of Balsam and Jeanette Rogers of Buxton; three brothers, Jack, Joe and David McCarson of Candler; eight grandchildren, Laura Clark, Antoinette Cowan, Tiffany Boone, Ka-Lyn Lance, Marvin Clark, Terry McCoy, Danny Ray McCoy and Faith Barber, and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm Wednesday at Ridgeview Baptist Church with the Revs. Gary Fender and Homer Tweed officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Her family will receive friends at the church immediately following the service and request that memorials may be made to Mountain Area Hospice, PO Box 25338, Asheville, NC 28813. Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue is in charge of the arrangements.
