Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. The death of Elise is a loss to all of her family and to her many loving friends. And to UNCA where she devoted her life to the Health and Fitness Dept that she helped form. Great love to all.

  2. We were very fortunate to have Elise as our wonderful neighbor and friend. She always had a lovely smile and brightened our lives whenever we saw each other. I will miss her coming out on her front porch and wishing me a “good morning” when I would take my morning walks. She was a special lady. We will miss her so much. Our deepest sympathy to all of her family.

  3. So sad to hear of the loss of Elise! We have missed her so much at St. Joan, she was our “Lucy” and was fearless in our dinner theatre productions. Sadly, we are out of town and unable to attend the funeral tomorrow. Our love and condolences to her family and her precious cats!

  4. A beautiful person who was an important part of our lives. Her memory will always be in our hearts.

  5. Elise was one of the kindest people I’ve ever known. She was always cheerful and positive about everyone and everything. I’m sorry she is gone but am glad she is now with God. Kathryn Lee

  6. Elise was the dearest of friends … not only to me but to my sister and mother as well. She holds a special spot in my childhood memories and through the decades of time. She will be dearly missed .

  7. Elise was a very sweet lady. I got to know her at UNC Asheville. Heaven gained a special Angel. She will be missed.

  8. I am so sorry for your loss. Will truly miss Elise when Dylan and I go for a walk. Elise would always come out to the porch and talk with us and always invite Dylan to look at her fairie garden. She was such a sweet lady and will be missed dearly by Dylan and me and the neighborhood.

  9. Elise was a caring person who always thought of others. She wanted to help whenever she could. She was modest so it took others to let people know about the good things she did She was easy to like and I am so glad to have been part of her life both when she was a student at UNCA and a valued staff member. The world is better because of people like Elise.
