Elizabeth Ann Rhodes Stewart, 80, of Travelers Rest, SC, passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2024.
A native of Canton, NC, Elizabeth was a daughter of the late Frank and Ila Mae Rhodes. She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Hilda Pearson, and Terrell, Jack, Thomas, and Charles Pressley.
She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Lowell Stewart, of Travelers Rest; daughter, Shannon Davenport (Phil), of Asheville; sister, Nancy Lee (Fred), of Walnut Cove, NC; four grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
Ann was retired from Southern Bell/AT&T where she spent her entire career as a telephone operator.
The committal service will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 1, at the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery, Black Mountain.
