Asheville ~ Our beloved wife, mother and friend, Elizabeth Catherine Laub, 90, of Wesley Way Drive, Asheville, peacefully passed away on Saturday, November 28, 2009. She was born in Chicago, Illinois and was the daughter of the late Peter Laub and Magdelina Heller Laub. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Nick Laub of Asheville; daughter, Dr. Lin Nicolas of Ojochal, Costa Rica; and a son, Mark Laub of Oak Grove, MN. A celebration of life service will be held 10:00 A.M. Thursday, December 3, 2009 in the Norma Pulliam Chapel of the Givens Estates with Rev. Jane Curran officiating. Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian on Long Shoals Road is in charge of arrangements.
