Elizabeth F.A. Miller

Elizabeth Frady Ashworth Miller, 97, formerly of 2618 Hendersonville Road, Arden, died Sunday, June 13, 2004. Mrs. Miller was born in Henderson County and was a daughter of the late Luther and Emma Hare Frady. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Roy J. Ashworth, Sr. and Norman M. Miller and by a son, Roy J. Ashworth, Jr. She was an active member of Fletcher United Methodist Church and an American Red Cross volunteer for more that 40 years. She is survived by a daughter-in-law, Eva Swann Ashworth of Arden; two granddaughters, Pamela Ashworth Hart and Tabatha Ashworth Turner and four great-grandchildren, Adam Hart, Isaac Hart, Noah Hart and Elizabeth Turner. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday in the chapel of Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian with the Rev. Alvin Morgan officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Churchyard. Her family will receive friends at the funeral home on Long Shoals Road from 2:00 - 3:00 PM Tuesday. Memorials may be made to the American Red Cross, 100 Edgewood Road, Asheville, NC 28804.
