Elizabeth Griswold Kendall

ASHEVILLE - Elizabeth Griswold Kendall (Betty), passed away surrounded by her family on November 27, 2014. She was married to James Kenneth Kendall (Jim) who died in 1983. She is survived by their three children, Milt and Loan (wife) Kendall, Loralee Kendall, and Joan Morris. Their grandchildren are Strother Stingley and fiance, Tabitha Judy, Kim Kendall, Ken Kendall and his fiance Nova Craven, and Ruthie Iglesias and her fiance Chris Berg. Kim Kendall is the mother of Betty's great-grandchild, Mya Kendall. Betty Kendall was a clay artist who was also involved in her children's schools, girl scouts, church fundraisers and other volunteer activities. She was an avid golfer and thrived at College for Seniors at the Reuter Center at UNC Asheville. All of her children and grandchildren will miss her terribly, but we're grateful for the world of possibilities she exposed us to.
