Elizabeth Ledford Wright, 90, died Monday, May 29, 2017, at the St. Joseph Campus of Mission Hospitals.
A native of Smith, KY, Elizabeth was the daughter of the late Aley, Sr., and Mary Green Ledford. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jack Wright, grandson, Billy Brown, and brothers Lee Ledford and Aley Ledford, Jr.
Mrs. Wright is survived by her daughters, Geraldine Putnam and Silba Brown; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home with the Rev. Everett Haney officiating. Interment will follow at Mountain View Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
