Elizabeth Sharpe Crawford, 96, of Asheville, passed away Saturday, July 25, 2020.
A native of Jackson Co., Elizabeth was a daughter of the late Eugene and Arizona Shook Sharpe. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Carl Robert Crawford.
Mrs. Crawford retired as a wedding planner, co-owning “Weddings Beautiful”. She formerly worked as a telephone operator. She was a member of Bent Creek Baptist Church since 1981, where she taught Sunday school. She also volunteered with the Alzheimer’s Association Support Group.
Surviving are her son, C.D. Crawford, of Asheville; daughter, Sharon Crawford of San Francisco; Kyte and Skye Ferrell, whom she considered as grandsons, and Kyte’s wife Nicole and their son, Taygan.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home. Attendance is limited to 50, and face coverings are required. Entombment will follow at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum.

I can only rejoice for her as she is with the Savior she loved and served so faithfully and she will never suffer again. I say “Hallelujah!” I will be praying for you during these days of sorrow.

So sorry to hear about Lib. She was such a sweet person. We will miss her! Will be praying for the family. She was in our Young at Heart Sunday School Class! Loved her!
My heart is heavy for you both. Your mother was very special to me in so many ways. Such a refined, intelligent, beautiful woman for all the years I knew her…she carried herself with dignity and grace. Although I have not been physically able to be with her in the last few years, I will miss her greatly. May God be with both of you as you experience this time of loss and grief. I love you!

Lib was one of the dearest Friends I have ever had. She was such a woman of God, and a prayer warrior. She will live on in our hearts until we see her again at our Heavenly Father’s House, and her prayers will keep on being answered until Jesus comes again. How I love her and always will. My heart & prayers are for you both and for all who loved her.
We are sad to hear about the loss of your mother Lib. She was so sweet and had a kind soul. We know she is now rejoicing in Heaven with her Lord and Savior, and seeing our parents again! She was such good friends with our mother. God Bless!

CD, I was so very sorry to hear about your moms passing. I know you loved her so much. We were both raised by wonderful women. That is such a blessing. I will definitely keep you in my prayers.
I won’t be able to come to the funeral home. I believe Donna told you that Ricki and I both are not well.. I stay away from crowds since the corona virus.

Dear Cecil and Sharon, so sorry to learn of your mom’s passing. I have so many memories, a lifetime’s worth, as you both know. She was such a great friend to my mom, my late wife Debra, and so many other folks. Lib’s wisdom and words were always such a welcome calm in the storms of our lives, most of those storms created by us. She will be greatly missed. My prayers and love to you both.
Aunt Lib will be missed I always enjoyed her company so much. She was beautiful, thoughtful, and always encouraging to me. I send my love to the family. You are all on my prayers.
I am very sorry for Lib’s passing. She was one of my very best friends. She loved my mom & dad. Cecil was a very special friend for his mom. He cared for his mom day & night for 7 years. May God bless all the family. I will be in prayer for all.

Oh my heavenly father you haved called a great women home. Im so heartbroken dont have no words to say. But i love you sharon and cecil sorry i just found out.
