Eloise Lamor West Greenwood, 98, passed away Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at Deerfield Episcopal Retirement Community.
Born October 13, 1925 in Canton, NC, Eloise was a daughter of the late Walter and Mary Etta West. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, George T. Reagan, her second husband, Roger W. Greenwood, and her siblings, Hilda Carson and James L. West.
Mrs. Greenwood retired from American Enka. She very much enjoyed playing basketball for the company’s team in the industrial league.
Surviving are her step-daughters, Mary Beth Edwards and Lee Ann Lail; nieces, Gail Saye, Cindy Hendley and Dinah Carter; and a nephew, Mark West.
The graveside service, with Deerfield Chaplain Betsy Baumgarten officiating, will be held on Thursday, January 4, at 11:00 a.m. at Pisgah View Memorial Park. Mrs. Greenwood will be laid to rest beside her first husband, George T. Reagan.
Her family asks that memorials be made to Four Seasons Hospice, 211 N. Main St., Hendersonville, NC 28792.
