She is survived by her children Roger and Bobbie Bailey, Stella and Lee Jackson, Eloise and Clark Hild, Lawrence and Eva Jean Bailey, JoAnn Bailey, Elaine and Jerry Murphy.
Ms. Bailey’s 12 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, 3 brothers, 2 sisters and many nieces and nephews will miss her loving and generous contribution to their lives.
Elva was an active member of Oak Grove Baptist Church for 30 years and her generous spirit touched the lives of many in the community.
Visitation for friends and family will be at Groce Funeral Home on Long Shoals Road in Arden on Thursday from 7:00-8:30 PM. Funeral will be in the chapel on Friday at 2:00 PM.
Interment will be private at Tweed’s Chapel Cemetery.

My heart goes out to you all at this time. Aunt Elva was a special person. When I was little, the thing I remember most, is that she was always trying to ‘feed me’. When I think of this it makes me smile. That’s what I’d like to remember.GOD Bless you all.
