Hendersonville – Ernest Edward Bing, Sr., 86, of Wildwood Forest Lane, departed this life on Friday, March 27, 2009.
Mr. Bing was born in Nassau County, NY to Homie and Sarah Blanks Bing. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Peggy Edmonds Bing and his son, Ernest E. Bing, Jr. He was a retired postal clerk and a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Those left to cherish her memory include two daughters, Christine Bing Logan of Hendersonville and Elaine Roston and her husband, William of Stone Mountain, GA; seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren, one brother, three sisters and a number of nieces and nephews.
A service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, April 3, at the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery. Military rites will be conducted by the Buncombe County Veterans Council.

Mr. Bing was a very dear person with a great sense of humor with a story to tell and always a smile to share will be greatly missed. My condolences to all the family.God blessyou all.
