Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. I was so sorry to hear of Ernestine’s passing. She is in a better place now and is no longer suffering. She is with God and also her loved ones that were taken before her. She lived a long and happy life. Take great joy in the memories that were shared with her. I always remember her having a smile on her face when I visited and there was always an offer of food. She was the sweetest and most compassionate person I have ever known. You are in our thoughts and prayers always.

  2. Ernestine surrounded herself with those she loved: her husbands – Howard and Ernest; her children Gary and Stephen and their wives and children; and all of her sisters, brothers, nieces and nephews; her pets and her flowers. Ernestine freely helped all who needed her .She advised, fed, gave flowers, and took care of family, friends, and neighbors. She made a real difference in world. We are sorry.we did not learn of her passing until today and we could not be at Gary’s side to comfort him at her passing or funeral. It was an honor to be able to care for her during her illness. She was a strong and amazing woman. We love Ernestine dearly and will miss her.

  3. I was a class mate of Steve Foster from the 3 grade to HS graduation and knew Ernestine and Howard well when I lived near them. I am sure Ernestine is with God and her good friends that went before her, which includes my mother who was a very good friend to Ernestine. God bless her family during this period of time.

  4. My husband and I would like to extend our sincere condolences to the family and friends of your beloved Ernestine. Psalm 34:18 brings us words of comfort, for it reassures us that God care for us especially during difficult times like this. May you also draw comfort from the memories you all made and shared together-cherish them in your hearts always.

  5. Aunt Ernestine was a lovely lady and our family so enjoyed her. Our mother, Nell Sorrells, always thought of her as another sister. She will be missed by all of us in Virginia. Our love to her family.
