Ethel Jackson Hutton, 85, of 21 Debra Lane, Asheville, died
Thursday, January 9, 2003, at the
Hospice Solace Center.
Mrs. Hutton was born in Hendersonville and was a daughter of the late John Wade and Mary Price Jackson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Donald Hutton and by twelve brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her sister, Alice White and her husband
Finley of Asheville and by a number
of nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 am Saturday in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home with the Rev. Gail Coulter officiating. Private burial will
be at Green Hills Cemetery.
Her family will receive friends following the service.

I’ll never forget the Sunday dinners at Aunt Libby’s and the afternoon drives with my mom,dad,Aunt Libby,Aunt Ethel and Uncle Don.At the time I felt like I was being punished for something but now I truly am blessed with the fond memories.
I really didn’t know my Great Aunt Ethel but I know her enough to say she was a wonderful person that had lots of love for her family. I will miss her and I love her with all my heart.
