Ethel Marie (Wilson) Crow, 82, of Fairview, died Saturday. August 24, 2024 in her residence.
Born in and a native of Transylvania County, she was the wife of the late Waynes Crow, and the daughter of the late Bunyan and Geneva (Searcy) Wilson, formerly of Penrose, NC. She was also preceded in death by a son, Brett Leon Fisher; a daughter, Shirley Fisher; and two sisters: Ella Mae Talley and Christine Gonce.
Ethel was a member of Temple Baptist Church in Simpsonville, SC until moving back to Buncombe County where she attended Calvary Chapel of Asheville, until health issues prevented her from attending.
She is survived by a daughter, Teresa Marlow and her husband Gary of Fairview, a son, Bobby Lee Fisher of Greensboro, NC; nine grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
A graveside memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, August 31, 2024 at Nesbitt Chapel Cemetery.
Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian is assisting the family.
