Ethel R. Ownbey, 89, died
Wednesday, November 8, 2000, at
the Hospice Solace Center.
Mrs. Ownbey was a
daughter of the late Sylvester V.
and Mary Cordelia Buchanan
Roberts and was married to
Edward Harold Ownbey who died
in 1980.
She is survived by
several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will
be at 2:00 pm Friday at Lewis
Memorial Park with the Rev. W.C.
Hensley, Jr. officiating.
Groce Funeral Home on
Patton Avenue is in charge of the
arrangements.

We regret that both ourselves and Ethel’s Christian Fellowship for 18 years was not notified in time to be in attendance and to give testimony as to her trust in Jesus. She was a most caring person and will be much missed during our short time of separation.
