Mrs. Harrell was born in Greenville, SC, and was a daughter of the late William and Mattie Randall Patterson. She was a member of Berea Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Lindsey Joseph Harrell, Sr.; three daughters, Gail McIntyre of Tryon, Faye Hampton of Hendersonville, and Linda Wheelon of Maryville, TN; one son, Joe Harrell of Wake Forest, NC; one sister, Mabel Green of Greenville, SC;; nine grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 am Tuesday in the Patton Avenue Chapel of Groce Funeral Home with the Revs. Stan Willett and Lester Crayton and the Rev. Dr. Don R. McIntyre officiating. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
Her family will receive friends from 7 - 9 pm Monday at the funeral home and request that memorials be made to Berea Baptist Church Building Fund, 2578 Riceville Road, Asheville, NC 28805.
