Eva Viola Summey, 94, of Asheville, died Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at Laurels of Greentree Ridge, Asheville.
Born in Fletcher, she was the daughter of the late Major and Estelle (Owenby) Summey. She was also preceded in death by five brothers, Donald, Jim, Everett, Lee, and George; and one sister, Margaret Bacon.
Eva is survived by a niece, Leslie Summey , and two nephews, John Bacon and Mike Summey.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, June 18, 2021 at Calvary Episcopal Churchyard, Fletcher, with Chaplain Kelly Belcher officiating.
