I had Mrs. Stanton for 5th grade in 1957. She was always my favorite teacher and I remember her fondly. She read to us everyday after lunch and I will always contribute my love of reading to her. She was a very sweet person and a special teacher.I wish there were more teachers like her.
I am so sorry for the loss of your Mother and Grandmother. She was such a wonderful woman.Mrs. Stanton was my fifth grade teacher in 1955 and so inspired me. She is the one who instilled in me the love of reading. I loved her and still talk about her to this day. I have my own grandchildren now and tell them about her. God bless you in this time of sorrow.
Linda
I was just sharing with some friends today Sept.5th 2015 about my 5th grade teacher and the reading I remember most and have told many about, through the years, was The Hardy Boys and Mrs. Staton made the reading come alive. I remember her as if it were yesterday… what a wonderful teacher and wonderful person. 1957-58 was my class with Mrs. Stanton.
