Everett "Curley" King

Everett Odus "Curley" King, 72, of Curtis Creek Rd., Candler, died Wednesday, June 11, 2014, at the Brian Center in Weaverville. A native of Buncombe Co., he was a son of the late Troy and Maybelle King. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Eula Mae Jones King, and by 8 brothers and sisters. Mr. King is survived by four daughters, Tracy, Pat, Kim, and Amy; son Gary; 15 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; sister Ruth; and brothers Weldon, Avery, and Vinson. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday at Pisgah View Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. on Friday at Groce Funeral Home, Patton Ave, and at other times at the home of Tracy.
