Faye Conner Marlowe

Faye Conner Marlowe, 82, of 25 Alonzo Lane, Fairview, died Saturday, March 12, 2005.
A native of Rutherford County, she was a daughter of the late James and Raye Harris Conner. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Paul B. Marlowe, Sr., who died in 2000; a son, Steve Paul Marlowe; a brother, Hicks Conner; two sisters, Pearl Bailey and Gladys Padgett and a grandson, Jason Marlowe. An avid quilter, cook, canner and homemaker, she was a member of Nesbitts Chapel United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Linda Faye Marlow and her husband Sidney and Lynne Marlowe Searcy and her husband Dwayne, all of Union Mills; two sons, Paul Marlowe, Jr. of Fairview and Tim Marlowe and his wife Sharon of Lake Lure; two sisters, Athela Hemphill of Union Mills and Edna Gettys of Bostic; three brothers, Wade Conner and Robbie Conner of Union Mills and Floyd Conner of Marion; seventeen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 4:00 pm Monday at Nesbitts Chapel UMC with the Revs. Robert Harris and Phil Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Barry Marlowe, Steven Marlowe, Blake Marlow, Caleb Searcy, Seth Searcy and Rob Nicholson serving as pallbearers.
Her family will receive friends from 3:00-4:00 pm Monday at the church prior to the service and request that memorials be made to Robert Harris Ministries, 178 Hill Farm Road, Hiddenite, NC 28633-5214.
