Fern Pittillo Wilcocks

Mrs. Wilcocks was born in Henderson County and was a daughter of the late Thomas and Minnie Capps Pittillo. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Frank J. Wilcocks in 1990, and by a son, Pat Wilcocks in 1995. She was a registered nurse and formerly worked at the Juvenile Evaluation Center and at Highland Farms. She was a member at the Basilica of St. Lawrence.

Surviving are two daughters, Mary Ann Wilcocks and Sara Kort of Asheville and a son, Frank Wilcocks of Meridian, MS; one brother, Woodrow Pittillo of Charlotte; seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial Mass will be held at a later date.
