Ferrill Law, 88, of 33 South Bear Creek Road, Asheville, died Monday, October 22, 2007, at the John F. Keever Hospice Solace Center.
A native of Henderson, AL, Mr. Law was a son of the late R.C. and Jewell Stinson Law.
Mr. Law retired from the Dade Co. Metro Transit Authority after 42 years. He was a veteran of the US Army, serving in World War II. He was also a member of West Asheville Baptist Church.
Mr. Law is survived by his wife of 66 years, Mildred Law; daughter, Janet Law Rosselle and husband Gary D., of Asheville, and Judith L. Langdon, of Cairo, GA; son, Robert C. Law, of Asheville; sisters, Letha Grable, of Montgomery, AL, Nora Howell, of Orlando, FL, and Martha Behr, of Lakeland, FL; four grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday evening in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home with the Rev. Stanley J. Welch and Mr. Frank Silvers officiating.
Interment will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Green Hills Cemetery.
