My parents have rented a house from Mrs. Smith for 30 years, so I grew up living next door to her. One of my fondest memories of her, from my childhood, was when she would deliver candy to our house (and all the renters) at Christmas. Each year she would bring me a big plastic candy cane filled with candy! It was a very nice thing to do for all the kids in the neighborhood.
Our condolences to your family on the loss of this remarkable woman.
To all the family,.She sure had a long and full life. She touched a lot of people.
I know you will miss her. I pray God give you comfort and peace.

My deepest sympathy during this time of sorrow. Fleeda lived a good long life and touched the lives of so many. She will be greatly missed.
So sorry to hear about Fleeda. My thoughts and prayers are with the family during this time.
Mrs. Smith was how I addressed Fleeda growing up. Mrs. Smith, my Sunday School teacher. Mrs. Smith, the leader of our Vacation Bible School. As she stood in the front, she lead the salutes to the American Flag, the Christian Flag and the Bible, Gods Holy Word. For over forty years everytime I see or salute the Christian Flag or salute the Bible or hear someone refer to the Bible as God’s Holy Word I think of Mrs. Smith standing up front leading us. I sometimes sing in my head the song about the books of the Bible that she taught us in VBS.
What she gave me over the years will be in my heart forever. I am sure Fleeda was chosen by God to teach the children His Word. Her dedication to the church and her faith set an example for other Christians to follow. Her beauty was both inside and out.
Fleeda will be dearly missed but she will live on in the hearts and memories of all the lives she touched for many years to come.
Goodbye Mrs. Smith. I will see you on the other side.
Ronnie and I are sorry for your loss.
