    I will miss you granny!

  4. Donnie, Karen and family, our deepest sympathy to you and your family on the passing of your dear mother. We enjoyed our visits with her and you while her and mama were at the Oaks together. Love and comfort to all the family.

  5. Dear Judy and Karen and families, Although your hearts are sad with the passing of your Mother, you know that she is now in the presence of God safe at last! All the things she worried about and feared in life are now over. Praise be to God! I have many fond memories of Aunt Flora especially how welcome she made anyone feel that came to visit at her home and of course she thought she always had to feed you something and plenty of it. One of my favorite memories is when Mama and I visited her in the nursing home and I was standing up looking at the pictures on the wall. And she told me to sit down that I was making her nervous. So I sat down! But I was chuckling on the inside because that was so typical of her. We’ll all miss her. Love to all of you. Donnie and Avalina Merrill

  6. Dear Judy,Karen and family. I was also saddened by the news of Aunt Flora. With my family living next door to her and Uncle Ralph I was always over there during my childhood years. And of course as others have said who knew Aunt Flora, she would never let you go away without eating something. I learned in a hurry to get my own plate because if you didn’t well she would give you ten times more than what you wanted. I do have such fond memories of her. Just know now that she is with your daddy and the many others who have gone on before rejoicing. What a wonderful day that will be!! Love to all.
