Richard was my mom’s (Christine Dockery) cousin. They were close friends their whole life. They would go fishing or out to eat or just visit. I remember when momma was in the nursing home he was so faithful about visiting her and would visit at least once a week if not more. He was such a good Christian man.
My grandmother, Mamie Agnes Wright Smeltzer, and Richard’s mother Agnes, were very close. Agnes was my Grandmothers Aunt and she was named after her. Agnes’ brother William Henry Wright was my great grandfather. I am sorry for this loss and that I never got to meet Richard.
We are sorry to hear of the death of Richard ! We have not seen him in a very long time, as most people experance as we get older!
May GOD BLESS RICHARD AND HIS FAMILY AND FRIENDS!
