Frances Hollifield McElrath

Frances H. McElrath, 94, of 17 Marigold Ave., died Friday, July 10, 1998 in a local hospital. A native of  Haywood County she was the daughter of the late Albert and Mary Keith Hollifield. She was preceded in death by her husband Reid L. McElrath and two daughters Joan Robinson and Mildred McElrath. She was a former member of First Baptist Church in Waynesville. Her survivors include a sister Isabelle McCarthy of Arden, three brothers Gene and Jackie McElrath of Asheville, Gerald McElrath of Charlotte; seven grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren. Graveside services will be 2:oo pm Sunday at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receve friends 7-8:30 Saturday at the funeral home.
