Asheville ~ Frances Lenora Bradley Williams, 84, of 358 Mills Gap Road, died Tuesday, June 26, 2001 at her residence.

A native of Buncombe County, Mrs. Williams was a daughter of the late Leonard Garfield Bradley and Ida Delilah Owenby Bradley and the wife of the late Oren Odell Williams. She was also predeceased by two sons, Charles Oren Williams and Clifton Eugene Williams and two brothers, Eldon Bradley and Furman Bradley.

Mrs. Williams was a homemaker and a member of the Fletcher House of Prayer.

Survivors include a daughter, Laura Williams Negron of Fletcher; three sisters, Ethelyn Dotson of Fletcher, Lillian Hare and Betty Lou Hare, both of Asheville; four brothers, Ancel Bradley of Asheville, L.G. Bradley of Haw Creek, Franklin Bradley of Fairview and Mitchell Bradley of Asheville; four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, June 28 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian on Long Shoals Road with Revs. Arnold Vess and Donald Hare officiating. Interment will follow in Emmas Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7:00 until 8:30 PM at the funeral home.
