Frances Pressley Frady Fairview – Frances Pressley Frady, 82, of Fairview, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 28, 2015 at Flesher's Fairview Healthcare Center, where she had made her home for the past few years. She formerly lived on Gap Creek Road in the home where she grew up. Born in Haywood County, she was a daughter of the late Jess Rowe and Beatrice Kerley Pressley. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Willie Rowe Pressley and Roy Pressley. Frances was a member of Emma's Grove Baptist Church in Fairview, where she attended faithfully until she was no longer able. She retired from the former CP Clare in Fairview where she worked for over 50 years. Frances never had children of her own, but loved all little children. She cherished the time she had to spend with her family and loved each of them very much. She was a very caring person, hard worker, honest and believed in God. She had a very hard life overcoming many challenges. Frances is now at peace in a home prepared for her by Our Savior. Her spirit will be with us always. Left to cherish her memory are a brother, Raymond Pressley and his wife Betty; three sisters, Dorothy Dills, Katherine LaMonica and her husband John and Virginia Buckner and her husband Ralph; one sister in law, Helen Pressley and a number of nieces, nephews and many friends. Mrs. Frady's funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, December 31, 2015 at Emma's Grove Baptist Church with Reverend Gene King and Reverend Todd Royal officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 PM on Thursday at the church. She will be laid to rest in the church cemetery. Flowers are acceptable and appreciated, however, for those who desire, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Emma's Grove Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, PO Box 1786, Fairview, NC 28730.
