Francis Andrew (Frank) Littleton, 60, of Asheville, passed away on Thursday, March 15, 2007, following a lengthy illness. A native of Madison, FL, he was the son of the late Frank and Catherine Littleton and was also preceded in death by two brothers who died at birth. He attended public school in Madison and graduated from North Florida Community College where he received certification in computer technology. He served in the US Marine Corps before commencing a 30 year career with Bell South. Frank enjoyed fishing, reading, tinkering on cars and traveling. He had a wonderful sense of humor, a heart of gold and gave so much to so many. He was a loving, caring and devoted father and grandfather. His memory will live forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. Survivors include a former wife, Iris of Marshall; daughter, Autumn Littleton; son, Johnathan Littleton and wife Angela; grandchildren, Juliet, Alexander and Delano, all of Canton; a former wife, Debbie; step-children, Tessa and Donnie, all of Asheville; sisters, Joyce Littleton of Tallahasee, FL and Helen Littleton of Blairsville, GA. He had many cousins, Mandy and Ken Stoffa of Fernandina Beach, FL, Rose and Stan Patrick of Culpepper, VA, with whom he was especially close, Connis and Mike May of Shelbyville, TN, Jackie and Ken Johnson, Tommy and Tina pepera, the Cutler and Ruby Littleton family of Madison, FL, Iris and Drew Ward of Fernandina Beach, FL, and a good friend, Patricia Donovan of Blairsville, GA. A memorial service celebrating his life will be held at 5:00 pm Wednesday in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home. Interment will be held at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Madison, FL at a later date. If so desired, memorials be made to a charity of one’s choice.
