Frank Ed Brooks

Frank Ed Brooks, 85, of 15 Clearbrook Road, Asheville, died Tuesday, January 14, 2003, at the laurels of Greentree Ridge. Mr. Brooks was a native of Buncombe County and was an Army veteran of WW II. He was a retired sergeant with the NC Department of Motor Vehicles and was a member of Central United Methodist Church. He was married to Betty Rich Brooks who died in 1988. Graveside services will be at 12:00 noon Saturday at Green Hills Cemetery with the Rev. Dr. Rob Blackburn officiating. Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue is in charge of the arrangements.
