Fletcher ~ Frank Robinson, 63, of 179 Rutledge Road, died Friday, January 26, 2001 at Elizabeth House in Henderson County.

A native of Madison County, Mr. Robinson was a son of the late G.B. Robinson and Bessie Mae McIntosh Robinson and the husband of Mary Lance Robinson. He was also predeceased by a sister, Shirley Robinson and a brother, David C. Robinson.

Mr. Robinson was an employee since 1978 of Square D as a Master Toolmaker and a post-Korea veteran of the US Army. He was a member of Pea Ridge Baptist Church in Mill Spring.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Robinson is survived by two sons, Gary Frank Robinson and his wife, Clarissa of Fletcher and Lemuel Lee Robinson and his wife, Christine of Liverpool, NY; four grandchildren, William, Kyna,Skye and Jordyn; five sisters; Mary Lou Jamerson, Grace Ray and Betty Ray all of Mars Hill, Pansy Hathaway of Weaverville and Inez Quinn of Leicester; six brothers; Gay Robinson of Flat Rock, Dewey Robinson of Mars Hill, Cecil Robinson of Asheville, Thomas Elic Robinson, Earl Robinson and Jerry Robinson all of Fletcher, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 28 at 3:00 PM in the chapel of Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian at 72 Long Shoals Rd., Arden, NC. The Revs. Steve D. Hardin, Sr. and Rev. Cecil Robinson officiating. Interment will follow in Shepherd Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 8:30 PM on Saturday, January 27 at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pea Ridge Baptist Church Building Fund, 831 Hwy. 108 East, Mill Spring, NC 28756 or to Four Seasons Hospice Elizabeth House, 511 S. Allen Rd., Flat Rock, NC 28731.

  1. We are so sorry for your loss. Frank was a wonderful person and will be greatly missed. We worked with him at Square D. He fought a long hard battle but now he is at peace. Take comfort in this. May God watch over you and your families and give you strength in this difficult time.

  2. I worked with Frank at Alliance Carolina Tool & Mold for many years before he went to Square D. I thought the world of him. We had a lot of good times at Alliance.All of the family will be in my prayers.

  3. I work at the front desk of Hendersonville Hematology and Oncology. Mr. Robinson was one of my favorite patients. We will miss seeing his smiling face. God bless and comfort you.
