Weaverville – Frank Wilson Kelly, 64, of Beechwood Knoll, died Monday, December 6, 2004 in Mission Hospitals, Memorial Campus. A native of Burke County, Frank was the son of the late Jeff and Virginia Kelly Taylor. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and a former law enforcement officer for Burke County and Buncombe County and former Chief of Police for Woodfin. At the time of his death he was a supervisor for Master Concrete. Frank is survived by his longtime companion, Joyce Bailey of Weaverville and a daughter, Ginger Hamby, and her children Priscilla, Jacob and Adam of Lenoir. Also surviving is a daughter Renee Lively, her husband Rex and their children Chad and Gannon of Hendersonville. Funeral services will be held at 6:00 PM Friday at Groce Funeral Home chapel at Lake Julian. The funeral service will be conducted by the Rev. Kermit Robinson. The Kelly family will receive friends following the service and at other times will be at the home of Renee and Rex Lively, 264 Ronald Lively Road, Hendersonville.
