Frankie D. Brown

Frankie Duckett Brown, 93, of 131 Old No. 20, Asheville, died Wednesday, August 25, 1999, in an Asheville nursing center.

Mrs. Brown was born in Haywood County and was a daughter of the late Denver (Boss) and Charlotte Hill Duckett. She worked in residential construction with her husband, Vonno L. Brown, who died in 1992, and she
was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church.

She is survived by a daughter, Gladys Wells of Leicester; a brother, Ott Duckett of Leicester; three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild..

Funeral services will be at 10:00 am Saturday in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. Ronnie Owen officiating. Burial will be in Ashelawn Gardens of Memory.

Her family wil lreceive friends from 7 - 8:30 pm Friday at the funeral home.
