Frankie Lovingood Wilson, 89, of Candler, passed away Friday, January 6, 2017, at Pisgah Manor Healthcare Center.
Mrs. Wilson was born in Candler and was the daughter of the late Oscar and Braska McClure Lovingood. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Samuel H. Wilson, her son, Samuel E. Wilson, and sisters, Blanche Stockton, Gertrude Smith and Dorothy Brown.. She was a former nurses aide and was a member of Maple Ridge Baptist Church.
She is survived by her granddaughter, Alisa Peterson; daughter-in-law, Cathy Wilson, and brother, Hayes Lovingood.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home with the Rev. Wayne Eudy officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
Her family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:30 to 2:00 Thursday

I loved seeing her driving around Candler with her FRANKIE personalized license plate. She was as sweet as they come and it was an honor and privilege to know her and assist her.
