  1. Dear Marge,
Our hearts break for you. We will miss ‘Uncle Fred’. He was a wondeful friend to us.
    Love,
    Gay and Stewart Coleman

  2. I was proud to have known Mr. Carmichael over the years. He often stopped in at my tire shop opposite the rug mill in Fletcher, NC. We often shared jokes and I considered him to be ‘one of the good guys’.

  3. Marjorie & Lynn:

I worked for Mr. Carmichael a number of years and always found him to be fair. It was not unusual for me to find his flight books sitting in the middle of my desk when I arrived at work in the morning. This was his way of saying that my work schedule took a ‘back seat’ to his updates needed for ‘his next trip out’. I’m sure you will miss him.

  4. Mrs. Carmichael,

My sincere condolences go out to you and your family during this time of great loss.

I truly admired and respected Mr. Carmichael and enjoyed our business and personal relationship over the past twenty years.
