Fred had been coming down the hill to the Rite Aid/Eckerd for years it seems sometimes almost everyday. Sometimes twice. He would often tell stories about his family and his past and how much he loved you all. We all really thought of Fred as family. It’s gonna be hard not seeing him come around the corner of the store and bring a big smile in the door not to mention stray carts from the parking lot. My thoughts are with you.
Dear Geary, Mark, Dale, Joe & families ~ I want you to know that I have you in my thoughts and prayers. I did not know until this morning that Fred had passed away, and I’m so sorry that he is gone. I have always remembered Fred as the one who could make me laugh 35 years ago, even though he was trying SO hard to be gruff with me! I quickly saw through the facade and found the sweet man who grew to love and respect me. He was always a gentleman and a pleasant part of my visits to your home many years ago. Please love and support one another during the bad times as well as in the good times. I know each of you has a special memory of Fred – ponder it in your heart and keep him close to you. I know that it helps – it’s what I’ve done since I lost my sweet little Daddy.
God bless each and every one of you. Love,
