Fred Scott Crownover, Jr.

Fred Scott Crownover, Jr., 72, of Asheville, passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2024, at Mission Hospital.

He had a long career in the insurance industry with a degree in Claims Law. He was known for his avid love of music and books, as well as his love for his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred Scott Crownover, Sr., and Mary Coats Crownover. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Sharon Bridges Crownover, and by his sister.

A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
