Frederick H. McKelvey

Frederick H. McKelvey, 96, of Arden died Tuesday, November 30, 2004 in a local hospital. Mr. McKelvey was born in Sparta, Illinois and was a son of the late Willard and Gertrude Charlotte Telford McKelvey. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Helen Ranton McKelvey. Mr. McKelvey received a PhD from Harvard University and worked in education as a university administrator. He is survived by a daughter, Susan Mozian, of Arden, a son, Tom McKelvey, of Phoenix, AZ, a sister, Katherine McKelvey, of Sparta, IL, two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Groce Funeral Home, Lake Julian, is assisting the family.
