Frederick Gordon Knight, 86, passed away Saturday, December 21, 2024 at Mission Hospital.
Mr. Knight was born in New London, Connecticut to the late George and Ruth Barnard Knight. He was also preceded in death by a son, Frederick “Sonny” Gordon Knight, Jr.
Gordon was an Army Veteran and a member of Biltmore Baptist Church. He was an excellent husband and father and will surely be missed.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Cynthia “Cindy” Hayes Knight and two sons, Christopher Scott Knight and Shelby Gene Knight.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 27, 2024 at 11:00 am at Shepherd Memorial Park with Pastor Kelvin Moseley officiating.
