Gail Hope Fullam Redmon

Gail Hope Fullam Redmon, born October 23, 1939, in Buncombe Co., peacefully entered into the arms of her savior Monday night, May 27, 2024. She was a daughter of the late Fred Fullam and Bonnie Greenwood Fullam.

Gail grew up on dairy farms in Buncombe and Henderson Counties, and was the fifth of six siblings. Preceding her in death were siblings: Luther, Ann, Larry, Donald and Fayellen.

Gail was married to Dean Redmon, son of Preston and Stella Redmon, for 33 years until his passing in 1999. She is survived by her sisters-in-law, Diane Fullam (Larry), of Nashville, TN, and Willie Fullam (Donald), of Mills River, NC. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.

Gail was always eager to love and make a fuss over her nieces and nephews from the time they were born until now. She loved taking pictures of them at any gathering that occurred. Gail was a lifelong church member and it was one of the delights of her life. Gail most recently was living in a care facility in Brevard among many friends she made there.

There will be a celebration of life memorial service held for Gail at Emmanuel Baptist Church, North Mills River in Mills River on Sunday, June 9 at 3:00 p.m. All friends and family are encouraged to attend.
