  1. Gail, I will never forget your tremendous gift to Caring Hearts AIDS Ministry. The panels you sewed for the NAMES Quilt and the beautiful altar cloth with the names of those we lost. May you and Ambrose dance with the angels!

  2. Our hearts are so sad to hear about Gail. Our deepest condolences to your family as you learn to cope with your loss. Thank you for sharing her with us. We will certainly miss her sweet little smile.

  3. What an incredibly generous and kind hearted person . My family has known Gail and Ambrose for over forty years . We extend our condolences to her family for the loss of such a beautiful being .

  4. Very sorry to see this obituary. Truly a legend in the courts. She was a great asset…..to Judges, attorneys, and the public alike. I know she gave me some great tips when I was just licensed to practice.

  5. Was my honor, knowing Gail, caring for her as her nurse, praying with her and giving her weekly holy communion, received much blessings through her Godly life. RIP sweet angel.

  6. Gail had already been a choir member at St. Joan for many years before I took over as director. She was so encouraging, so appreciative of every little thing we did, and so generous with all our choir members. And she LOVE to sing! When she was no longer able to come to pracitices, she sat right in front of the church, right by the choir, and sang her heart out with us. Later, when she moved to Pisgah Manor, we brought our choir practices to her, singing with her in her room. Gail was a gift to all who knew her! I am sure she’s already joined the celetial choir, and they will love having her.

  7. Gail is my Mom’s (June’s) cousin, so I often considered Gail like a “Great Aunt”. I only met her a few times in Asheville several years back with my Mom. Gail had a lovely home, beautiful hand made quilts, and she made the best southern iced tea I’ve ever had! Gail was always friendly to me and upbeat about her life and faith. May she rest in a joyful peace with Christ knowing she is free and loved. Love Evie

  8. Gail and I were first cousins. I have many good memories of her through the years. Her mother, my Aunt Nellie, was also a good seamstress. Aunt Nellie used to sew a lot of my clothes for me when I was a little girl. Gail was very good to keep in contact with my mother through the years.
