Genevieve and I met when I worked at the County Attorney’s office fresh out of law school. She was knowledgeable, kind and strong. She loved her family and her friends of which there were many.
Gen was a much-loved friend and member of our Givens Friendship Park book club. Always kind and thoughtful in every word and action, she will be remembered as a very special human being. We miss her.

I will miss Genevieve. She had grace, dignity and brought that calm and certainty into her friendships. Always a pleasure to be around.
Such a sweet kind soul. I’ve had the pleasure of knowing her and helping out where I could with her younger brother in Chicago. Bless you; until we meet again.
