Genevieve Creasman Pitts

Mrs. Pitts is survived by ten children, Linda Pitts and husband Harold of Travelers Rest, SC, Judy Tramel of Travelers Rest, Larry Hyatt and wife Janice of Skyland, Ricky Hyatt of Skyland, George Pitts and wife Karen of Fairview, Randy Pitts and wife Alean of Weaverville and Tina Bishop and husband Mark of Fairview, Jim Gregg and wife Betty of Anderson, SC, Fred Gregg of Salem, SC, Cathy Slaton of Anderson, SC and one brother, J.B. Creasman of Asheville. Mrs. Pitts had 31 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

She had two special sisters in Christ, Betty Wilson of the Avery Creek Community and Meg Fightmaster of Leicester.

Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Wednesday at the Candler House of Prayer conducted by the Revs. Steve Brockwell, Roger Thomas and James Calloway. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Randy Pitts, Scottie Pitts, Billy Mathis, George Pitts, II, Joshua Bishop, Jimmy Messer, Ronnie Clubb and Larry Hyatt.

The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 pm Tuesday at Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian on Long Shoals Road, where Mrs. Pitts will remain until being placed in the church 30 minutes prior to the service. At other times the family will be at the residence.
