I was so sad to hear the news about Cam having cancer. I’ve been keeping up with him & praying for him and for ya’ll ever since. My brother also had brain cancer, so it was even more special to me. Cam, when I knew him, was such a great guy and very fun loving. I loved watching the video & seeing him all grown up with children & a wife. As I’m thrilled for Cam to no longer be suffering and to be in heaven totally healed, I’m so sad for your loss. It’s one like no other for a parent or for a sibling. I sure wish I could come and give you a big hug, but live to far away. Please know that I’m praying for you all and will continue to in the months ahead.
    Love,

  16. Kathy, Paige and Cam’s children, I am so sad that you had to lose such a wonderful man. Cam and I worked together at the Waynesville branch of Mountain Credit Union. My visit with him last week will be a memory I’ll never forget. We stayed in touch through this whole journey and I will miss him tremendously. I was sad that I couldn’t make it to visitation because of a prior commitment but, comforted by the fact that the last thing I said to him was ‘I love you’ and he said ‘I love you more’. He and his family will always be in my heart.

  17. Paige, Kathy and family, Praying for God’s comfort and peace during this difficult time. Each of you are in my thoughts and prayers.

I spoke with him in the last couple weeks and it was both heartbreaking and uplifting at the same time. I am saying prayers for the family and know how much he was loved.

  21. Enjoyed the ‘voice of the Lions’, he did more than call the games, he made it that you were sitting in the kitchen having a conversation of what was going on. Cool dude, who would take time to talk to anyone, Cam, you are one of a kind, and heaven has gained a prime time player.

  22. Paige and Family,

So sorry to hear of Cam’s passing. He was always so nice to me and I appreciate the times I shared with him.

    Take care,
