I am writing to say as young children we always loved the kindness and sweetness `our Aunt Georgia ‘showed us, and talked about her often when we were traveling all over the `unknown’ parts of the world as ‘army brats’…children of her brother Bill. Always wanted to go see her when we `went home’… Now she is home.

  8. As the great great niece of Georgia (Grand-Daughter of Rebecca (Singleton) Rubio) I am very sorry about the loss of your mother. Wished we as a family could have known her personally and not just heard the loving stories about her.

  9. I am seeing this so many years later as I look into my family tree. My great grandmother, Georgia Singleton Lance, is a great inspiration to me. I thank her every day for the life she has helped me lead.
Thank you to everyone who wrote nice comments. It is still appreciated.
