Gertrude F. Scott, 82 of 20 Camelfield Drive, Weaverville, died Tuesday, May 23, 2000 in a local hospital.

A native of Spencer in Marathon County, Wisconsin, she was the daughter of the late Herman and Hattie Karau Facklam. She was a former resident of Homestead, Florida and a resident of Weaverville since 1992. She was a member of the Weaverville First Presbyterian Church.

Mrs. Scott is survived by a daughter, Lynne Scott of Mohawk, Michigan; a son, Dean Baehman and his wife Paulette of Weaverville; a brother, Randolph Facklam of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, six grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husbands, Sidney Moore, Emmett Baehman and Garland Scott; a brother, Walter Facklam and a grandson, Jeffrey Baehman.

Graveside services will be held at 10 am Saturday, May 27, in the Chambers-Brigman Cemetery off Moody Cove Road at the Beech Community in the Reems Creek Valley. Services will be conducted by the Reverend Bruce Lax.
