Geter Clifton Robinson

October 30, 1930 ~ August 14, 1998

Geter Clifton Robinson Jr., 67, of 18 Gossett Rd., Candler, died Friday at his residence. A native of Madison County, he was the son of the late Geter C. and Vera Davis Robinson. He was preceded in death by two sisters Winfred Clement and Wollee Robinson.

He was a retired employee with the Buncombe County School System serving as principal of Pisgah and Candler Elementary and as an Assistant Superintendent. He was a Graduate of Western Carolina University with a B.S. and M.A. Degree.

He was a member of the Hominy Valley Masonic Lodge #491, the Candler Lions Club and Montmorenci United Methodist Church.

Mr. Robinson is survived by two sisters Marie R. Maynard of Candler, Idalee Robinson of Burnsville and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside Services will be 3:30 pm Sunday at Pisgah View Memorial Park with the Reverend Terry Duckworth. The family will receive friends 2-3:00 pm Sunday at the Funeral Home.
