Gilbert P. Jones

Mr. Jones was born in Buncombe and was a son of the late E.W. and Lula Murray Jones.  He
served in the Army during WW II and was a retired farmer with the Biltmore Company.  He attended Bent Creek Baptist Church.

He is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm Monday in the Patton Avenue
chapel of Groce Funeral Home with the Revs. Wayne Jones, William Warren, and Joseph Jones officiating. Burial will be at Pisgah View Memorial Park.

His family will receive friends from 7 - 8:30 pm Sunday at the funeral home and at other times will be at the home of Buddy and Brenda Jones on the Biltmore Estate.
